This service is kind of like Netflix except you don't get to watch movies. Essentially, it's a recommendation engine for music, movies, and books that doesn't actually host any content, it does provide helpful links to help you acquire media from many different sources.I haven't been able to use this service much but, most recommendation engines have a break even point.  Once you enter in a certain amount of data you start getting useful results and I imagine this is true with Get Glue as well. With that said I have no issue with the recommendations given I have an issue with the way the service is set up and how things are accessed and recommended to users.  The interface feels a bit off in areas and non-intuitive. It does have integration with facebook including face book connect, pulling information and your picture from your profile, and probably posting some sort of spam at some point.

The social portion of this service seems pretty incomplete, but I'm not sure you would need too many social networking features. You can connect to other users and see the things they like, but I haven't seen many features past that.  If I'm wrong, let me know in the comments. 

If you like Netflix and would like to extend the rating and suggestion functionality to music and books than this may be a great way to go.  Other wise you may want to avoid this service until it gets a little more polish on it.
